Winter course Portuguese
TaalTaal offers quality Portuguese courses on several levels. Our groups consist of 5 to 10 students, so you will have lots of personal attention and guidance.
The new season starts in the week of January 16th 2012 and consists of 11 lessons of 90 minutes. There is no class during school holidays. It is possible to sign up for an already running course.
Please take into account about 2.5 hours of self-study next to the regular courses. If you need extra help, you can make use our of complimentary self-study sessions every Friday or you can take private classes (reduced fees apply).

Longer lessons: starting September 2011, all non-Dutch lessons have been extended to 1,5 hours instead of 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Portuguese Level 1
Level before course: You have not yet participated in a Portuguese course.
Level after course: You can handle daily life situations in Portuguese. You know numerals, simple grammar and plurals. You can have short conversations in Portuguese.

Frequency, duration, day and time: One lesson a week for 11 weeks: Tuesday between 18:00 and 19:30.

Portuguese Level 2
Level before course: You have participated in the course Portuguese Level 1 or a similar course.
Level after course: You are able to have conversations with Portuguese citizens about various simple topics. You can read and understand short texts in Portuguese. You can also write a short letter or email.

Certificate
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate with your proficiency level. We use the standardized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), also known as ERK in Dutch.
