Detailed Basic Dutch 1

During this course, students learn the basics of the Dutch language at a quick yet comfortable pace. Compared to regular Dutch classes, the (grammatical) intensity per lesson is lower, but the total number of lessons is higher. This allows for more in-depth practice and support in the key skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing (in that order). While self-study outside of class is recommended, it's not absolutely required.

For whom: Beginners with no prior knowledge of Dutch who wish to get a thorough understanding of the Dutch language as well as gaining confidence in using Dutch in practical situations.

Result after the course: During the course, you will learn together with other students a basic level of Dutch. Classes involve simulating common situations regarding interaction with other Dutch speakers so you can introduce yourself, ask for directions and engage in basic conversation.
